LARRY WHALEN

 

Tango Magdalena proudly presents Larry Whalen as our Student of the month for June 2008.
Larry and his wife Jeannie Whalen first came to a class we were teaching at Ashkenaz. They have often reminded us that the session was actually our last session at Ashkenaz, sometime in January 2008. Our Grand Avenue studio was ready and we were already transferring our teaching activities into our new space. Providence had made it such that they came to that specific session.
Larry has been a very consistent, focused and passionate learner of Tango. It’s been a true pleasure to see him express his Tango more and more. Larry demonstrates his understanding of Tango in his application of the Walking. We always state that there truly is such a thing as a specific Technique for Walking. Larry's progression (as well as our other students) demonstrates it clearly.
