KYOKO MORRISON

It is a great pleasure to have Kyoko as STUDENT OF THE MONTH! From the first day she stepped in to study the Magdalena Technique ®, her Art has been growing and showing; her understanding of the Media-Vuelta and its complexities shows, more and more. Her understanding of the details of the Leading Partner's role confirms her ability to articulate that concept. Kyoko is diligent and focused in her learning and practice. We are very excited to applaud her progress!

What an honor to be co-selected as Student of the Month with other dedicated fellow students.

Before I started Argentine Tango, I was enjoying dancing many different dances, ballroom, latin, country, night club 2step, balboa, shag, and swing. I even quit my job so I have more time for dancing. But, there was one dance I had not done and it had been in my mind all those years. “Argentine Tango”.

Yes, that most beautiful, sophisticated, intimate and sensuous dance in the word. How did I live without it??? Too many dances, not enough time! Since I’m not getting any younger and time is running out, I decided to drop all other dance classes and start Argentine Tango. And that was two years ago.

About a year ago, I heard about Jean-Pierre from other dancers and took his first lesson. Right away, his love and enthusiasm of teaching the dance captured me. Ever since, he has been encouraging and inspiring me to improve my dancing.

Kyoko has the right spirit that can help other undertake the Tango journey. We are confident she will do just that!
