JONATHAN PARKER

 

We have been very happy to have Jonathan come to study with The Magdalena Technique (TM).

We have been very happy to see Jonathan progress and morph, little by little, peacefully, patiently, towards a Tanguero. The GREAT qualities, Jonathan has shown have truly been: perseverance, patience, determination, consistency in the journey! Then, as expected, we saw him begin to morph.

How else can we be, short of being happy and elated for him?

"I used Google to find a salsa class near me. Salsa class was structured on choreography, which wasn’t my cup of tea.

I noticed Jean Pierre and Oshalla’s poster, teaching every other Sunday at the same studio.I am so glad to be learning and leading the Tango organically from Jean Pierre and often dancing with oshalla.

I don’t have much Experience dancing the tango, but when I took occasional lessons elsewhere, they were all based on eight count, somewhat choreographed patterns which compromised connection between leader and follower.

I make myself go every other Sunday regardless of my mood because I always leave with a smile and a twinkle in my heart! “
