E FEEL GOOD ABOUT TRUMPETTING OUR STUDENTS OF THE MONTH, FOR THIS MARCH 2019! As you'd remember, this was always a tradition at our studio, for the past years. We are reviving it this month!
A learner comes in, willing to learn Tango and feeling a bit intimidated by the other students who are familiar with each other and seem very much at ease, in the room. We always welcome the new comer to help them be at ease. The first difficulties of the student are remembered. During the course of the following weeks and months, the progress will show, steadily. Then, comes a point of the first breakthrough. Usually, all of a sudden! The feeling of joy for that student is the reward of the instructor.
We encourage our students to be GREAT TECHNICIANS of THE MAGDALENA TECHNIQUE ® and be excellent IMPROVISORS on the floor and be SMOOTH and GENTLE dancers. It means, being able to instantly create their own steps and figures and not be locked in some memorized steps; being able to dance in tight spaces; being able to dance with a Lady (or a Following-Partner) with NO PUSHING or PULLING, muscling the partner. When our students begin to display these qualities, we shout out in joy and recognize them!
We have experienced this, many times and we are grateful for the opportunity given, to share the Art of Tango, with others. That is why, our goal to re-open our own dance studio, the vision of it, has never been faded. To the contrary, we keep \the energy pointed to that direction. Send us your prayers and good wishes!
