To the descendents of the African slaves in Buenos Aires (Argentina) , TANGO, the African word meant “Place of gathering” or “Place of coming together”. These descendents were instrumental to the generation of the dance art form of Tango as we know it today.
That was over a century ago. Tango still has not lost its original meaning and is now internationally enjoyed by many people around the globe.

We are promoting the spirit of dancing in general and of Tango in particular in the East Bay, in this great San Francisco Bay Area. It is our hope that many will come join us and be part of the great community of Tango dancers.

We insist on the importance of GOOD TECHNIQUE as a guarantee for a good Tango experience. We were very fortunate to receive proper and complete information from Master Teachers. It is that very information we are disposed to sharing with whoever comes our way.

Above everything else, we love you!

Join us!
